Edirisa UK was founded in 2005 by Sheila Windridge who still heads up the charity. Edirisa UK works in the Kabale and Rukungiri Districts of South West Uganda delivering life-changing health, education and social projects, focusing on income generation initiatives to empower communities

PUM is a Dutch-based organization that helps to grow SMEs in developing countries and emerging markets and create a positive impact on the economy, environment, and society.

They supported Gorilla Highlands Coffee when they sent a coffee Tourism visiting Expert Dr. Dineke Koerts for some days.

They are still collaborating with us in areas of coffee-tourism expertise and EU market entry.

BMP International is a Japan-based company that provides sales support and development programs to agricultural producers living in remote underdeveloped villages.

We take pride in our Partnerships, knowing that together we can create a sustainable business, aimed at conserving the 600+ Mountain Gorillas located here in our corner of the Gorilla Highlands.

​GHC is working to minimize humans and gorillas’ conflicts through our donations to the Uganda Wildlife Authority. Furthermore, we support frontline communities with economic opportunities and encourage them to turn ‘From Poachers to Protectors.’ We do this by providing ex-poachers with:

1) Alternative income through sustainable coffee and tea production
2) Trekking with gorillas for visitors to experience these majestic creatures in their natural environment

​Through the inclusion of frontline communities in the whole conservation chain and in the coffee production process, including coffee eco-tourism projects, we provide the missing link for engaging, purposeful, and productive livelihoods to encourage protecting gorilla habitats.
